Post is a collaborative ongoing series of portraits that trace intra-connection through inter-connection of bodies over borders. Two cisgendered beings connected in space disassemble racial, sexual and nationality materiality to attain spiritual congruity. Focusing on questioning the physicality of being the collaboration interrogates masculinity. How does ‘man’ and ‘man’ create intimacy? And how should we imagine this intimacy post binaries?

Post is a collaboration between Rune Bo Viborg Kaldau and the Zimbabwean born emerging writer and visual artist, Tawanda Appiah. His work focuses on the politics of self – body and voice - in the postcolonial Pan African space. Inspired by Feminist, Queer and Black Conscious texts he is part of a generation that is consciously disassembling and reassembling identity.
